PE Social Outing to Abuelo's

PE members recently enjoyed a social outing to Abuelo's Mexican Food Embassy in Fairborn, Ohio!


Family Feud

PE members Brittany Sharnsky, Tiffanie Chow, Emily Lyle, Erin Moosbrugger and Angela Nguyen competed in the Family Feud competition held on January 26, 2006.  Our team handily defeated their competition, the KU Crew, demonstrating an impressive knowledge of UD and all things Marianist.  Way to go!


Community Service at St. Vincent's Hotel

On Monday, November 14, the President's Emissaries participated in a community service event at St. Vincent's Hotel in Dayton, Ohio.  The Emissaries were privileged to prepare and served dinner to over 250 homeless people in the Dayton area.


Luncheon With Members of the General Administration

On Sunday, February 20, the President's Emissaries had an opportunity to visit and have lunch with two members of the General Administration of the Society of Mary, the Very Reverend David Fleming, Superior General and Brother Javier Anso, Assistant for Temporalities. Fr. Fleming and Bro. Anso spent a week visiting the UD campus and met with vowed religious, administrators and deans, and various members of the campus community. The luncheon was hosted by Dr. Dan Curran and Dr. Claire Renzetti.




On November 13, PE, SGA and HST 398 students visited the Underground Railroad Freedom Center in Cincinnati. The day was spent touring the various exhibits and reflecting on this period of our history and how it relates to where we are today. PE's had the opportunity to share their experiences with Andrew Young, the renowned civil rights leader, and former UN Ambassador, Congressman and Mayor of Atlanta,, when he visited the UD campus on November 18.
